Jone Lizarralde Ibabe is currently pursuing a PhD in Contemporary Basque Literature at the University of the Basque Country. Her research examines configurations of desire in literary works published over the last few decades, intending to develop a feminist reading informed by affect theory. Drawing on a corpus that encompasses a wide range of literary genres, her work combines an interdisciplinary analysis of discursive representations of desire with a comparative study of their formal articulations.
Before embarking on her doctoral research, she participated in several conferences in the field of education. Her contributions focused on the Service-Learning (SL) methodology, arguing that literature can contribute to addressing issues of coexistence and school climate in secondary education.
